The CARES Act provides for Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC). Under FPUC, eligible individuals will receive an additional compensation per week in addition to their weekly benefit amount from another unemployment compensation program.
FPUC is payable for weeks claimed beginning week ending April 4, 2020 through the week ending July 25, 2020. FPUC payments will automatically be paid to claimants who are eligible for Unemployment Compensation and will show as a separate payment at the same time as your regular unemployment compensation. This program has been implemented effective April 12, 2020. As of January 2, 2021, FPUC will be paid to eligible individuals, who will receive an additional $300 per week in addition to their weekly benefit amount from another unemployment compensation program. FPUC is payable for weeks ending January 2, 2021 through week ending September 4, 2021.
NOTE: The FPUC payments are not currently viewable on the claimant self-service (CSS) portal. In order to confirm you have received this $600/$300 weekly payment, please visit the Nevada Unemployment Insurance Debit Card site at www.bankofamerica.com/nevadauidebitcard.
